Bethany Hammer-Instructor


Bethany’s passion for dance began when she took her first dance class as a toddler.  She started in a creative movement class in Deep Creek Lake, MD, where she grew up.  She has been very involved in dance her whole life.  Bethany took different gymnastics, jazz, hip hop, aerobic, tap, and ballet classes and was a cheerleader from the age of 5.  Bethany has competed in gymnastics, cheerleading, jazz, hip hop, and aerobics.  Throughout middle school and high school, Bethany performed and competed at many fitness expos, regional and national adult sport aerobic competitions, two Washington Bullets half-time shows, a Pittsburgh Steelers half-time show, performed  for Richard Simmons, competed at the NCA (National Cheerleading Association) National Championship in Dallas, TX, and competed in the National Youth Sport Aerobics Championships (winning 1st place).  Bethany also went on to place 5th in the World Youth Sport Aerobics Championships.

After college, Bethany moved to DC where she auditioned and became a Washington Redskins Cheerleader.  She was a professional cheerleader for 3 years and traveled all over the world.  Bethany went to Aruba, the Super Bowl, Senior Bowl, Hall of Fame Game, and India! Bethany has cheered and danced professionally with the Redskins, Washington Kastles, and the Royal Challengers IPL Cricket team in Bangalore, India!

Bethany is married and has a 2 year old boy!
